Wills and Probate

Protecting your family's future

Can you believe that over 70% of the UK population does not have a will that is an accurate reflection of their financial circumstances and the personal choices at the time of their death? Making a Will creates certainty, reduces worry and gives you the peace of mind of knowing exactly how your money, property and possessions will be dealt with after your death.

A Will guides those who are left behind and saves worry and heartache at a time of great emotional stress. Making a Will is usually the first step to take in putting your affairs in order to minimise inheritance tax liability.

We can provide help and advice on:

  • Gifts made to family members
  • Issues in Wills such as guardianship, childcare, adoption and divorce
  • Obtaining grants of probate
  • Preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Preparation of Wills, trusts and deeds
  • Reviewing and amending Wills
  • Winding up and distributing estates Making a Will is not expensive.

We charge a fixed fee for preparing your Will, which includes meeting with you to discuss your needs, preparing a draft Will for you to consider and amend as required, meeting with you again to check the final Will and for it to be signed and witnessed to meet legal formalities. We can also store your Will free of charge.

Our charges are:

  • Single Will £85.00 + VAT
  • Mirror Wills £135.00 + VAT
